It’s a fast paced life and people don’t really get time to cook and hence they end up ordering from restaurants or eating packaged frozen food. Here are few recipes that are quick and easy to cook.
10-Minute Chicken and Noodles
This simple recipe requires only 6 components and you can change different vegetables and pasta shapes.
Cooking Time: 10 min
You will require
• 1 small can of chicken broth
• 1/2 tsp of dried basil
• 2 cups of different - different vegetables like a combination of carrots, broccoli, cauliflower etc
• 2 cups of uncooked noodles
• 2 cups of cooked cubed chicken
• 1/8 tsp of pepper
Take a medium fry pan and mix the vegetables, broth, pepper and the basil and let it heat to attain a boil. Then reduce the heat to medium and cover the pan and let it cook for 5 mins. Take the uncooked noodles and stir them in again cover the pan and let the noodles also get cooked for about five minutes then just add the chicken and heat it through.
Quick Chicken with Mushrooms
This recipe is comparable the classic chicken masala, but is a quick and effortless variation. Try chicken over brown rice or quinoa for a healthy dinner.
• 4 medium or 12 oz. Of total boned skinless chicken breast halves
• 1 and 1/2 cups of sliced fresh mushrooms
• Non stick spray coating
• 2 tablespoons of water
• 2 tablespoons of sliced green onion
• 1/4 cup cooking sherry
• Salt to taste

Take a piece of chicken and place it between 2 peices of clear plastic wrap boned side up. Then pound lightly working from centre towards the edges with a meat mallet to about a quarter inch thickness. Then remove the plastic wrapping and do similar with the remaining chicken breast halves. Take a large fry pan and spray the non stick spray. Then preheat the fry pan over medium heat. Add 2 chicken breast half and cook them for 2-3 minutes then transfer it to a platter and keep them warm. Repeat it with the remaining chicken breast halves. Then take the fry pan add green onion, mushrooms water and salt and let it cook for 2-3 minutes till the liquid evaporates. Add the cooking sherry and then heat it through then pour the vegetables and the sauce over the chicken and serve.
Chicken and Pasta with Asparagus
Cooking Time: 15 min
• 1 chicken butter flied breast half,
• 1 clove minced garlic,
• 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
• 2 to 3 stalks of trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces asparagus
• 1/4 cup of chopped onions
• 2 to 3 sun-dried rehydrated tomatoes
• 1 serving cooked linguine
• 1/4 cup chicken stock
• 2 or 3 fresh cleaned and quartered mushrooms,
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Thyme
• 2 to 3 tablespoons of sherry

You will need to sauté the chicken breast in vegetable oil over high heat. Then add the onions, sun-dried tomatoes, asparagus, mushrooms, garlic, salt, pepper and thyme. Add sherry and chicken stock and let it cook till the sauce gets a little thick and the chicken is cooked through. Then serve it over linguine.
